By road
Havant Courthouse is easily accessible by road and is situated about half a mile north of the B2149/Havant intersection on the A27. It is about as far east as you can go along the A27 before you reach West Sussex.
Note: If approaching from a westerly direction stay on the A27 until after the signs for Chichester and Brighton. Do not leave the dual carriageway until you see the Havant sign. (There are many exits all along the road which are signed A27. You should ignore these until you see the B2419 sign). Leave the dual carriageway by the slip road signposted to Havant B2149 and continue to the roundabout under a flyover.
If approaching from the west take the first exit (turn LEFT). If approaching from the east take the third exit (turn RIGHT) into Park Road North. Continue straight on, over three sets of traffic lights until you reach a roundabout just after the railway/road bridge. Take the third exit (turn RIGHT) into Elmleigh Road. Take the first LEFT into Civic Centre Road and turn RIGHT in front of the Leisure Centre.
If approaching from the north, leave the A3M at the intersection marked EMSWORTH B2149 (then Cowplain & Rowlands Castle). Go LEFT at the top of the exit ramp (into Dell Piece East) towards Rowlands Castle. After 500 yards take the third exit at a small roundabout marked Havant, Rowlands Castle, Hayling Island and Emsworth. Keep going on this road (Havant is about 4 miles). When passing the Harvester Restaurant & Shell garage stay on the main road (bearing RIGHT); continue straight on. The road changes to dual carriageway (40 mile limit) at the Havant Borough sign. Continue on the dual carriageway for about another mile. Look for the Curlew pub on your left and go straight on at the traffic lights near the Curlew. Just after the pub turn LEFT at the some pedestrian traffic lights into the Civic Centre Road and turn left in front of the Leisure Centre.
By Rail/Underground
Havant is served by a mainline station on the Portsmouth to Waterloo Intercity route. All trains stop at Havant. It is a short journey by taxi from the station to the Courthouse. However, it only takes 4 minutes to walk to the courthouse. Turn RIGHT out of the station's main entrance and cross the line by using the pedestrian bridge onto Elmleigh Road. The Courthouse is approximately 200 yards to your LEFT, and on the RIGHT hand side of the road.

Parking
There is no unauthorised parking at the front of the Courthouse (permit holders only).
The cheapest, but busiest, car park is the British Rail Car Park which is situated at the 'T' junction of Elmleigh Road and Leigh Road. Parking all day and Pay and Display approximately costs £2.80 (Monday to Friday), £1 on Saturday and free of charge on Sunday (please check current regulations). This car park is approximately 4 minutes walk away. Drive along Elmleigh Road, pass the Court House on your left, to the end of the road and the car park is directly in front of you.
There is also public parking in the Leisure Centre car park at the rear of the courthouse, this is Pay and Display and costs £4.80 all day. If you decide to park there please check the notices for current regulations and bring some change with you. There is also a small public car park opposite the courthouse by the railway footbridge which is Pay and Display. You may, of course, reclaim your parking fees.
