Directions to the Hearing Centre

By Road
Wigan & Leigh Courthouse is situated in Darlington Street which is off the main A49 Dual Carriageway. The venue is signposted Magistrates Court. There are car parks both opposite and adjacent to the court. The one opposite the main court entrance, on Darlington Street, is the cheapest.

By Rail/Underground
Wigan Rail station is less than 10 minutes walk, Via King Street, from the venue. From the train station exit and turn right. At the Reflex Bar turn right. Head straight on. The venue will be on your left. For more information about train times, please visit: www.nationalrail.co.uk.

By Bus
The bus station is located approximately 12 minutes walk, via King Street/King Street West/Crawford Street, or Library Street, through the Church grounds and Jaxon’s Court. Bus route Numbers: 540 & 320 stop at the crossroads of Warrington Lane/Darlington Street, 2 minutes from the Courthouse. Can I bring my Children to the Hearing Centre?
Yes, but please remember that children should not be left unattended at any time. The hearing centre does not have anyone to look after children and our staff cannot supervise them or be held responsible for their safety. In most circumstances you cannot take children into the hearing room with you. They can stay in the waiting room as long as there is another adult with you to look after them.

Special requirements
If you have any special requirements that you have not already notified to the Tribunal, which need to be taken into account so that you can attend the hearing you should contact the office that notified you of your hearing as soon as possible to discuss these.
